     William is a clinical psychologist with 30 years experience covering several areas in his field, including teaching, clinical consultation, psychotherapy, program management, and experience in working with traumatized first-response professionals.  He presently works in a family practice with his wife, Joyce.  She is a psychiatric nurse with over 25 years of experience.  She currently uses psychotherapy and counselling to help her clients with difficult behaviours.

     Dieter  is a Lutheran clergyman who holds a Management PhD and couples these two talents to provide quality care as the director of a multi-faceted church-affiliated social service agency serving more than 10,000 clients annually. He is presently involved in the second phase of a $100 million "continuum of care" retirement community in southern Ontario called Luther Village on the Park.

     Ruth offers over forty years of ministry experience, 26 years of that in correctional and justice services. Her leadership and training has assisted with counseling, marriage enrichment, human resource management, and staff training and development.

 

Mr. Gary Wetherbee, M.A.

     Gary is the president of Plan 'B' Training Associates, and a senior consultant with Executive Expeditions. He was previously a member of the Unitas team in Georgia committed to applying holistic faith through social services to many at-risk families over a seven year period. His eighteen plus years of experience in the business field, offer a practical approach to management, team building, executive coaching, and organizational development.

 

Robert C. Shaw, BASc, BD, MSW, Founder

     Robert’s professional career started with The Boys and Girls Clubs of Canada where he helped local groups to start clubs in some five cities in Ontario.  From 1960 to 1985 he founded and directed the Dellcrest Children’s Center.  There, he led the development of goal-based treatment outcomes, evaluation systems, services designs and voluntary manager training.  He started the Dellcrest Resource Center which provided training across Ontario in Dellcrest service and organization methods.

 

    Robert received the Distinguished Contributor’s Award from the Ontario Association of Children’s Mental Health Centers and was honored as a Fellow of the Faculty of Administrative Studies, York University for his work in starting the Voluntary Sector Training Program.

 

    After retiring from his 30 year leadership in the mental health field, Robert went on to combine his University of Toronto degrees in Engineering, Social Work, and Theology to found  The Markham Institute.  He has provided consultation and training to local and national organizations in Canada and the U.S.A. and headed Project New Hope, Atlanta, a highly successful service to multi-problem families in Atlanta. He has since initiated the Covenant, Eye-on-the-Family Blog, and The Family Cybermall internet services for families.

 

    Robert is the author of six training manuals and a book - all devoted to serving children and families.
